What to Share in Facebook Groups?
Many marketers and business owners know that Facebook is a great place to share and unfortunately abuse this resource by spamming a link to their business opportunity. They then wonder why this strategy doesn’t work for them long term and the simple answer is people do not want your business opportunity constantly thrust in their faces. Everyone is doing it and if you are one of these people, you should take note of what I’m about to share with you.
Facebook Groups using Attraction Marketing
If you haven’t caught on to the art of attraction marketing yet I suggest you read up on this quick smart. It’s been around online and offline for a very long time and can work for your business with amazingly positive results.
This brings me to what you should be posting on Facebook groups and Fan Pages, which is quality information about your business or industry.
Hundreds of people join Facebook groups and “Like” Fan pages generally because they want information about a particular subject the group or fan page offers.
So you should join groups and pages relevant to your business. Here’s an example – if you are just starting out in the entrepreneurial world you could join my group “Creating Entrepreneurs One Step at a Time”. Here you will find seasoned entrepreneurs and those just starting out and wanting information about how to get started. It would be silly to join a group about weight loss if you sold stationary for instance…. I think you get the idea.

How do I find Facebook groups to post to?
This is easy, just go the Facebook search bar and type in the words for your industry and see what pops up in your niche. For example, if you were in the Travel Industry you would type Travel into the search bar and then search. As shown below, there will be a mix of groups and pages that appear, just choose which ones suit your business the best.

So, you have a state of the art designer Website that you paid an arm and a leg for but is it bringing new business through the door for you? Are the search engines finding your designer website or is it sitting idle in cyber space gathering dust.
This would be the same website that looks a million dollars and emptied your bank account of the money you had set aside to spend on your marketing. Many businesses are having trouble understanding why their website isn’t generating walk in traffic and buyers like it should be.
Is your static website doing the job you thought it would?
Is it an automatic prospecting system that generates bums on seats, people through the door and copious amounts of sales online and off?
If your designer website is simply an information site so people can find you offline, it probably suites your needs. However, if you were expecting your designer website to pay for itself while also bringing in more targeted traffic to your business… you could be waiting a long time.

The type of designer website that works best for your business is one that works, for you. Before I go into detail, I would like to explain a few things to you about your business and potential prospects or targeted traffic, when you are using the internet as a prospecting tool.
I know most business owners are great at sales and selling to their target audience which are your walk in the door or click on the website customers. The biggest problem you have is to get those customers through the door and to click on your site.
As a rule business owners like you are pretty good at selling. If you had 10 people sitting in front of you or calling you on the phone and they wanted to hear what you have to tell them… you could probably get 4 to 5 of those prospective customers over the line without any trouble…… right?
Designer Websites, do they work?
What is actually constraining your business is not your ability to sell, it’s the actual number of people / leads or qualified prospects sitting down in front of you. So, how do you get the prospect through the door? One of the best ways to do this is to go online if you are not already. One of the most brilliant insights of the internet is that people go online, let’s say to search for fold away deck chairs. This is called your target audience if you are in the business of selling deck chairs. What they haven’t decided is who they are going to buy these deck chairs from.
Now if your designer website isn’t set up the right way with the right content to attract the robots that are crawling the internet for fresh content, your website simply will not be found by your prospective buyers. Your website is place of information for your prospective buyers and with any luck they will purchase from you while they are on your site. That is, if you have the right information and they can find you in the search engines.
Are you the Master or Mistress of your Website?
If you need something changed on your website like a phone number, a product price an image of your new employee, you just call your web designer to change it right? This is just about the limit of fresh content that most websites see in a year and of course there is no way the search engines will be crawling your website looking for one new phone number on your website that is on page 20 of the search engines. So your website stays static and may jump a spot or two because of your new info…. but that’s about it.
Every time you need a new change on your website you are forced to call the person who made your designer website so they can make the changes for you.
An automatic prospecting system or your wordpress.org website transforms visitors into paying customer which is critical for your business to prosper long term online. The main reason why most designer websites don’t work very well is that most business owners and small to medium businesses are far too tactical when it comes to marketing on the internet. Basically, this means that you might be running with some SEO or some pay per click advertising, which isn’t really having an overall defining strategy to how you are marketing your business on the internet.

To market yourself or your business successfully on the internet you need to use strategies which actually work. A marketing plan and framework that will drive endless leads and prospects right into your business. Yes, it’s that time of year again, a time to share with family and friends the joy we celebrate at Christmas time with our friends and loved ones.
My family has just returned from the children’s Christmas mass at our local church in Bowral, where we spent just over an hour being thank full for what we have in our lives and each other. We have cracked a bottle of bubbly and we are watching the Christmas carols at the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne, Australia…… a tradition we have done for as long as I can remember.
This past year has been full of many emotions for me …. starting off the year with the end of my relationship of 2 years which was the worst part of the year and it was only January! I thought to myself, it can only get better, which of course it did. With unhappy endings comes many new beginnings and wonderful events, some good, some not so good…. the meeting of some wonderful new people including the formation of my new team.
With the formation of my new team came some new friendships, including life coach, Shirley Kerkow, who most of my readers would know by the name “The Inspirational Success Coach“. Shirley although a professional in her own field came to me wanting to know how to market her Life Coaching business online. In a few short months Shirley is now on page one of Google for her keywords Inspirational Success Coach. It’s been a pleasure to work with Shirley over the past 3 months and assist her in reaching her goals, plus she has also become a wonderful new friend.
I watched my friend and business associated Mavis Nong of Attraction Marketing Online.com produce her first product, Underground Blogging Secrets…. and what a product it is! Not only has her latest product helped an abundance of Internet Marketers reach their blogging goals it has also help a monumental amount of affiliate marketers make a rather large income. Well done Mavis!
June this year was the beginning of my new marketing business, where I assist individuals and businesses on and offline reach their full potential and target their primary audience by placing them on page one of the search engines, via on page and off page SEO and content marketing. I also had my bleep bleep birthday in June…. the older I get the wiser I become…. 
August saw me leave my primary company after 2 years…… I have to say this was one of the hardest decisions to date in my online career. When you align yourself with the best in the business and your on the ride of your life there comes a time when you know you should move forward. Although it was one of the hardest decisions, it was also one of the best decisions that moved me onto bigger and more profitable ventures.
November I attended the “Release Your Inner Rock Star” Conference hosted by two of the coolest guys in the International Speaking Industry, Jeff Slaytor and Kane Minkus…. what a blast… I finally met my online buddy Peter Montgomery and also met the world famous Corporate Ninja, Ron Lee. What am amazing conference where I once again met some awesome new friends and gained a useful amount of knowledge to add to my internet marketing tool box.
December……. what an awesome end to the year! I entered the Top 50 MLM Blogs Contest run by thatmlmbeat.com where I finished in 14th place with a spot in the top 50 mlm blogs… What actually made me the most proud was that 2 of my colleagues Mavis Nong and Easther Sudharta also made it to the top 50 and Easther managed a place after a life saving kidney transplant. I was so humbled to be a part of these amazing top bloggers and leaders in the Internet Marketing arena.
Also in December, my youngest son had his last year in primary school and will also have a new beginning on the 1st of February, 2012 when he starts High School.
As you can see I have had a wonderful year surrounded by some amazing leaders in my industry while having the support of my family and friends. The Internet Marketing industry is a tough niche to compete in, however well worth the ride to the top.
I want to thank all my readers and supporters for the abundant support throughout the past year. If it were not for you….. I certainly would not be where I am today and I am truly humbled. Thank You!

If you have your online office situated over at Wordpress.org like I do and the majority of professional marketers do, you are going to know what a Wordpress plugin is right? Before I give you the plugins I use I would like to give a little information about Wordpress plugins to those who are just starting out and particularly some of my team members who are just setting up their Wordpress blogs. These are the best Wordpress plugins for 2011 if you are just starting out and I’ve also thrown in a couple for the advanced blogger.
What are Wordpress Plugins?
Basically, a Wordpress plugin is a small program that sits inside the Wordpress platform and once installed can increase the functionally of your website. Before you add any plugins to your Wordpress platform, you could say it is just in working mode. Adding a multitude of wordpress plugins will help your Wordpress blog run at peak performance and they are a crucial element to anyone wishing to have a high ranking successful blog. These Wordpress plugins are for the beginner with a few thrown in for the advanced blogger. These are the Wordpress plugins I use to rank me on page one and have my blog running smoothly and in peak performance.
Wordpress Plugins are easily installed by finding the plugins list on the left hand side of the dashboard and click on Add New.

AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget – Help your visitors promote your site! The AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget allows any visitor to bookmark your site easily with many popular services.
All in One SEO Pack – The Wordpress plugin to Optimize your Wordpress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).
cbnet Ping Optimizer - Every time you press save your post is pinged this plugin saves your Wordpress blog being tagged as a ping spammer.
Comment Luv – My favourite Wordpress plugin, automatically adds the users last blog post to the end of the comment that they make on your site provided that they include their URL and it has a feed available. It can also show information about each link left when a user hovers their mouse over the link. There is a free version of this the Comment Luv wordpress plugin, however the premium version offers so much more and will also save you downloading a couple more plugins to your site.
Other services attached to Comment Luv Premium are TwitterLink Functions. TwitterLink comments will add an extra field to your comment form to allow your visitors to add their twitter username along with their comment.
The username will be stored and you can display it within the comments in your chosen place to encourage people to follow them. This will add an extra enticement to your readers to comment on your posts.
GASP is extremely effective at combatting spambots and trackback spam.
SpamBots trawl websites and leave automated spam messages within comments. Because they are bots, it is unusual for them to be able to view things that are generated with javascript.
This Wordpress plugin will use javascript to generate a check box on your comment form asking people to click it before allowing their comment to be accepted and should eliminate 99% of bot generated spam.
Humans will still leave spam comments though so extra features allow you to set rules that a comment author must abide by or their comment gets spammed.
This version also has Keyword Name Functions and provides similar functions to the popular KeywordLuv wordpress plugin but does it in a way that keeps the name of comment author “clean” by storing the keywords separately to the name in the database.
You will be able to specify how the keywords are to be left and displayed as well as limit the amount of keywords that can be used.
If you do not want to allow keywords in the name then you can set the plugin to deny keywords and it will strip them out if the user tries to add them.
With all the above functions you can see why Comment Luv Premium wordpress plugin is such an instrumental tool in your blogging tool box.
