How To Eliminate Spammers On Your WordPress Blog
The Problem
I’ve been relying on Akismet to get rid of spam comments on my blog and it’s been doing a great job, however you still need to go into your spam mail on your wordpress blog to make sure your mail from your regular readers is not getting caught up with the spam. Like me, I’m guessing you will find lot of mail from your readers stuck in the spam box.
The Solution
After speaking to my good friend Mavis Nong, she has shared with me the awesome plugin that she’s been using with great success. Once you plugin Growmap Anti-Spambot Plugin you should be spam free and your regular readers email will go to your inbox not your spam box.
As you can see from the image above, when searching for this plugin, you only have to type in the words GrowMap to find it. Then all you have to do is active it. If you previously were using Akismet like I was, you will no longer need it, so don’t forget to uninstall it.
Once you have installed the GrowMap, log out of your blog and check your site and you should see a small box to tick under the comments section. If you are still logged in your site will not detect the box, you must be logged out.
This plugin is going to save you lots of time and you’ll no longer have to scan your spam box to make sure your legitimate readers are not going into your spam.
I absolutly love this new plugin and so do many other users. You can see what they are saying about it here on their site.
Enjoy this time saving plugin and if you are already using it don’t forget to leave your comments below and remember to check the box before submitting your comment.
Feel free to share this post with your readers and after you have installed it drop back and let me know how it’s working for you.
