You might be just starting out in your online business or perhaps you are struggling to get your business ranked on the search engines. You could even be a seasoned marketer that just needs a little motivation to get started this year and if that’s the case I encourage you to join the 100 day challenge.
No matter where you are at in your business you want to start each day by ticking off something on your list…….. achieve a goal! By achieving goals first thing in the morning you will be totally motivated for the rest of the day. Being a part of the 100 day challenge will give you the incentive to carry out these goals every day without fail.
What can a 100 Day Challenge do for you?
The 100 Day Challenge gives you 100 days of opportunity, growth, discipline and 100 days of being intensely focused. This is your opportunity to set some amazing goals and raise the bar on your own performance. This is why I have joined the 100 Day Challenge and I encourage my colleague’s to join me to help them achieve new goals in their business.
Anyone can join the 100 day challenge which is run by a professional team of marketers made up of Easther Sudharta, Clint Butler, Fontella Williams and Pat McKeon. Once you have registered, all you have to do is attend a weekly webinar to get your next task and execute it during the week. Over the 100 days there are incentives and this week they are giving away free training with one of the Co-leaders, which is gold in itself. All of these leaders have been at the bottom and they have a lot to share.
So, Why am I taking up the 100 Day Challenge?
Good question!
My number one reason is to encourage my peers to take their business to the next level, many who are just starting out and some who have been online for a while and need to boost their rankings. The 100 day challenge will do this and more for your online presence, which I have recently proven by coming 14th in The Top 50 MLM Blogs Challenge.
Anything is possible when you set goals, focus on the task at hand and have the sheer determination to be a leader.
I have some goals I want to reach and although I already have a successful online business I still feel it’s necessary no matter what level you are at with your business to constantly push yourself further. The internet is one place you can get lost if you don’t keep your eye on the ball so to speak.
♦ My first goal is to get my new website up and running TheOnlineBusinessBuilder.com.au. I’ve been helping people globally for the past 3 years get their business up and running online and establishing themselves on page one of the search engines. In 2012 I’m taking the next step to assist small business and individuals in my local area to also star on page one within their niche.
♦ The second goal I have set in the 100 day challenge is to post at least every second day to my blog. For me this is a challenge right now as I am running a business, assisting my team and running solo raising my 2 boys. Blogging once a week is usually the maximum I can squeeze out so, this will definitely be a challenge.
♦ My third goal (don’t laugh) is to execute the first two goals to the best of my ability. Now that I have made my goals public… I guess it’s now up to me to carry them out. Not that it will be difficult too do… I love what I do with a passion…. I will just have to organise my life to fit in a little better around the 100 day challenge.
Support?
You are never alone when you take on a challenge such as the 100 day challenge. You are continually supported by the co-leaders of the challenge, plus you also have the support of everyone else in the challenge. That’s well over 100 people all sharing and commenting on every post and giving your content mega support.

Blogging goes hand in hand with social media marketing and one of the largest social networking sites is Facebook. Once you have completed adding content to your website you will want to share it with as many people as possible. Today, I want to share with you some of the Facebook groups designed for sharing your valuable information and reaching the masses.
What to Share in Facebook Groups?
Many marketers and business owners know that Facebook is a great place to share and unfortunately abuse this resource by spamming a link to their business opportunity. They then wonder why this strategy doesn’t work for them long term and the simple answer is people do not want your business opportunity constantly thrust in their faces. Everyone is doing it and if you are one of these people, you should take note of what I’m about to share with you.
Facebook Groups using Attraction Marketing
If you haven’t caught on to the art of attraction marketing yet I suggest you read up on this quick smart. It’s been around online and offline for a very long time and can work for your business with amazingly positive results.
This brings me to what you should be posting on Facebook groups and Fan Pages, which is quality information about your business or industry.
Hundreds of people join Facebook groups and “Like” Fan pages generally because they want information about a particular subject the group or fan page offers.
So you should join groups and pages relevant to your business. Here’s an example – if you are just starting out in the entrepreneurial world you could join my group “Creating Entrepreneurs One Step at a Time”. Here you will find seasoned entrepreneurs and those just starting out and wanting information about how to get started. It would be silly to join a group about weight loss if you sold stationary for instance…. I think you get the idea.
Please Note: The Facebook groups I have provided below may not be suitable to everyone.
How do I find Facebook groups to post to?
This is easy, just go the Facebook search bar and type in the words for your industry and see what pops up in your niche. For example, if you were in the Travel Industry you would type Travel into the search bar and then search. As shown below, there will be a mix of groups and pages that appear, just choose which ones suit your business the best.
Below you will find the list I personally use for online marketing, plus a few extras.
If you have a group you would like to add your group to the list, you are welcome to leave me a comment with your group in the comment box. Let’s make this a list to remember.
I think we’ve all had occasions or situations where we have forgotten someone’s name and it always happens when it is most inappropriate. When we are faced with meeting many people at business conferences and other events the essential information of remembering their name can evade us. Very often this occurs when we meet a person for the first time, because it is the first thing they tell us, then give us so much more information to take in: what they do, who they represent etc, so therefore by the end of the conversation we remember everything about them but not the name. Having problems remembering people’s names?
Why does this happen?
Primarily it happen because we are concentrating on what we are going to say to them and thinking of ways we can help their business therefore we are not really focused on them.
What can we do about this?
It is a good idea to improve our memory, by developing the skills necessary to do this. It can make such a difference if you can create a good first impression and it will show your interest in the other person if you can close your conversation by including the person name.
Here are my 5 guidelines that will help you never to be in this situation again
1 –Resolve
Make it you resolution to remembering peoples names! Always think positive about the ability of your memory and it will not let you down. Tell yourself you can remember anybody’s name. This will help your brain to be positive about remembering any name.
2 – Concentrate
Always pay attention when you first meet someone you will only remember them if you take notice of their name in the first place and link it to you impression of them. Always relax and focus on the person by listening to them and repeat their name during the conversation.
3 – Repetition
This is one of the main keys to remembering. Repetition etches the person’s name in your mind. Immediately you hear the person’s name repeat it in the conversation: “What does your business produce John?” Repeat the name to yourself to enforce it into your memory and always conclude the conversation with the person’s name: “ It was good to meet you John!”
4 – Idea Association
A helpful suggestion is to link the person’s name with someone you know, it could be a friends or someone well known.
5 – Note and Remember
To write the person’s name down and review it the next day is an infallible way to remember it. An even better idea is to create a database of contacts where you can write the person’s name, date and place that you first met and other essential information about them.
This means that if they contact you or you have an appointment with them you can refresh your memory.
You can see that it is a valuable asset to be able to remember names both in a business or social context. So do try out these guidelines when you meet somebody for the first time.
I would love to hear how you overcome this type of situation!

Are you one of those people who are worried about clicking the like button or the Google +1 button on your own post? I’ve been doing a fair bit of blog hopping lately and have noticed posts with lots of tweetsand Facebook likes but the Google +1 button is rarely if ever touched. I have to admit I wasn’t sure what to do with the + 1 button either.
Many people are of the opinion that clicking your own buttons is blatant self-promotion. “Bah Humbug”I say…. If I go to the trouble of writing a blog post, you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be the first one to press the “Like” button, tweet it and Google +1 my hard work.
Blatant self-promotion in my book would be to spam your link on my Facebook wall when I barely know you. Then there are those irritating people that put their links and services in the middle of a running conversation on Facebook and tag you on their images that are posing as sales ads.
Done in the right way, self-promotion can work in the best possible way. Here are some great ways to self-promote.
When you post valuable information /content
Commenting on other peoples blogs and share your knowledge
Uploading Comment Luv to your blog and commenting on others blogs who also use Comment Luv.
You should also +1, like and share others blogs as well as your own.
When commenting on blogs, post your comment and then share right away. You don’t have to wait until your comment is approved first.
No matter what type of sharing and promoting you do online it all has beneficial SEO results. As you can see, it makes a lot sense to promote your own blog content and well as others.
So I suggest you do yourself a favour before you leave and click on the +1 button which you will find on the left hand side, then “LIKE”, share and bookmark and post a comment below before you leave. If you run out of things to do here then maybe you want to sign up (at the top of the page) for my marketing tips as well.

If you want to record a video leaving out the um’s and urr’s then you should know your content and because you know your content you can record your video easily and effortlessly which means you will save valuable time and your message will be spoken clearly and it makes it easier for people to listen and stay focused on you.
If the information you want others to listen to is flowing to you then it becomes easier for you to share it with passion and it means that it will come to you rather than looking for it in your mind.
If you start looking for information in your mind it means that you will lose focus of where you are and you end up in a nervous and confused state and that’s when you start to um and urr.
This technique is called ‘Expanded Awareness.’
STEP 1. Imagine if you are in front of your video recorder and you want to record your message with certainty and clarity. Pick a spot on the wall just above eye level behind the camera and focus your eyes on it for a minute.
STEP 2. Let your peripheral vision open up in front of you and then become aware of what is going on all around you.
STEP 3. Now relax your eyes down to the camera and listen to your inner voice and allow your content or message to come out.
The um’s and urr’s occur if you are not clear on your message and you start to focus on what’s missing rather than trusting your unconscious mind to let it flow out. As you practice this technique in the future it will come with ease and you will always be able to record your video’s clearly without um’s and urr’s from now on using this method.
